They include:. Nearsightedness : Light focuses too far in front of the retina and causes distant objects to look blurry. Farsightedness : Light focuses too far past the retina and causes near objects to look blurry. This can cause both near and far objects to look blurry. Presbyopia : Less flexible lenses and weaker muscles around them cause farsightedness. This happens to everyone as they get older. Glasses and contact lenses work by changing the way light enters the eye and making it focus properly on the retina.
Partial or complete blindness can occur when something interrupts a step in the vision process. Eye-related problems cause most cases of vision loss, but brain conditions and injuries can lead to blindness too.
Vision loss that starts in or around the eyes is usually the result of a problem in one of these areas:. When someone experiences blindness, their brain starts to form new connections to strengthen other senses. Over time, they learn to rely on these senses to compensate for their loss of vision. Without surgery to replace the cloudy lens, partial vision loss can eventually lead to blindness.
But more than 2, years later, most of us would agree with Aristotle. That can mean reducing eye strain with fewer digital screens and more natural sunlight. Other times, it means taking an hour out of our day for a routine check-up with an eye doctor.

The tonsils help to fight diseases that enter your body through your mouth and your nose. They stop the diseases from spreading to other areas of the body. Spleen The spleen is located in the upper abdomen. The spleen plays a very important role in protecting the body. The spleen contains lymphocytes and macrophages.
If one of these genes carries the instructions to make sickle haemoglobin HbS and the other carries the instructions to make normal haemoglobin HbA then the person has Sickle Cell Trait and is a carrier of the sickle haemoglobin gene. This means that this person has enough normal haemoglobin in their red blood cells to keep the cells flexible and they don't have the symptoms of the sickle cell disorders.
They do however have to be careful when doing things where there is less oxygen than normal such as scuba diving, activities at high altitude and under general anaesthetics. If both copies of the haemoglobin gene carry instructions to make sickle haemoglobin then this will be the only type of haemoglobin they can make and sickled cells can occur. These people have Sickle Cell Anaemia and can suffer from anaemia and severe pain.
The kidneys are covered by a thin layer of tissue called the renal capsule and are protected by a thick layer of fat. Within the kidneys, there are cone shaped structures known as renal pyramids. The renal pyramids contain nephrons, which are small blood vessels that filter blood and remove waste.
The filtered blood is then returned back to the blood stream and the waste is moved to the bladder. The kidneys are important because they remove impurities in the body that could be otherwise poisonous to the overall health of our body.
As this progresses a number of nerve fibers are damaged, blind spots occur, and glaucoma becomes permanent. In other cases poor blood circulation in the optic nerves can result to glaucoma. There are procedures to follow when in danger for glaucoma, this can happen to anyone, when in doubt people should go to their ophthalmologist and get treated for glaucoma right away in varies ways depending on the type of glaucoma. There are three different types of glaucoma, the most common glaucoma is the open angle, or chronic glaucoma.
The open drainage angle of the eye can become blocked leading to an increase of eye pressure. This decrease production of thromboxane A2 and the activity of antithrombin increases and terminate clotting [1]. Blood clotting is important because it maintain permeability through vessels.
Albumin is also important factor for metabolizing and detoxification drug and substances in our body [4]. There are several reasons for the decrease of albumin functionality in the body.
